Navy Wool and Brown Real Leather Woman’s Custom Jacket

A navy wool cashmere jacket coat with brown real leather with gold buttons for Notre Dame. Bespoke custom tailoring Worn with Ukrainian hand embroidered blouse

Here is a project from earlier this year. It’s another wool jacket like my previous jackets. The jacket is 100% navy wool with English rayon lining and real genuine (Made in Chicago) leather cuffs. I love this jacket and plan to make many more! The lapels and waist pleats make the jacket very flattering and chic. I think the current buttons will eventually be replaced with new buttons that have more...

Burdastyle Wool Navy High Neck Cape with Gold Irish Buttons

Handmade Anagrassia long Navy Wool Tailored Cape Coat Jacket with high collar and gold irish buttons. Notre dame football tailgates. Burdastyle sewing pattern.

Here is another adult cape I made this season. This cape was made with 100% wool and gold Irish buttons. I used Burdastyle’s 9/2015 #115 sewing pattern. The only change I made to the pattern were the placements of buttons/buttonholes. I also hand-stitched all the edges/hems of the cloak, instead of adding piping/bias tape trim. This cape is very warm and perfect for Notre Dame football tailgates & games in the fall!...

Last October, I made a navy cashmere and leather coat for one of my dearest friends. I would not call it a success. Since this first coat did not turn out as I had hoped, I simply had to design a new version of the winter coat! The new coat was first going to be an original and modern twist on a particular vintage style. (I’m being vague in my description because...

The (Unsuccessful) Navy Leather & Cashmere Notre Dame Inspired Winter Coat for “Croc”

Navy Cashmere leather long collared winter coat anagrassia quilted lining

Thank you Tess & Gigi for taking these photos on our walk last week. Photography by Anastassia I always knew “Croc” would remain one of my best friends after college. She used to share her croissant ends with me at Starbucks during our freshman year at Notre Dame. Yes, you heard me right — “croissant ends.” Almost every Tuesday and Thursday before our History class together, we used to grab Starbucks coffee...
