This children’s floral jacket was made for one of my First Holy Communion customers. (I’ll post photos of her dress and veil later this week!)
I absolutely love how this jacket turned out! I made a similar jacket for myself (see the jacket here) last spring. At first I was worried that the floral print would be too large for a children’s jacket, but I was wrong! I love this floral print even more for a children’s jacket!
Details about the jacket:
- Based off of the Burdastyle Long Dress Coat 02/2012 #140 Size 8
-Welt pockets with flap
-Fully lined (Blue and Red Cotton/Poly blend fabric)
-Interfaced floral fabric
-Fabric covered button (hand stitched to the coat)
-Machine buttonholes

Thanks Oonaballoona!
The pocket matching is amazing! If this were mine, I’d never want to take it off — just walk in the park, surrounded by flowers.
Thanks Claire!
